Responsible Gambling at 1eem
Gambling is entertainment. When it stops feeling that way, something needs to change. 1eem provides the tools, information and support to help Pakistani players stay in control — at every stage of their experience on the platform.
Built-In Controls to Keep You in Charge
Every tool listed below is available free of charge from your Account settings. No need to call support — activate them yourself at any time.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your 1eem Account. Once your limit is reached, deposits are blocked for the remainder of the period — no exceptions. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately; increasing a limit requires a cooling-off period before it applies.
Loss Limits
Define the maximum net loss you are willing to accept within a set period. If your cumulative losses hit your defined threshold before the period ends, further wagering is suspended until it resets. Loss limits are one of the most effective tools for keeping gambling within a budget you have already decided on.
Session Time Limits
Decide how long each gambling session should last. When your time limit is reached, the Platform will alert you. You can choose to have the session end automatically at that point. Knowing how long you have been playing — and having the platform enforce it — reduces the risk of unplanned extended play.
Cooling-Off Periods
Take a short break from the platform for a defined period — 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days — without going through full self-exclusion. During a cooling-off period, you cannot deposit or place wagers. Your Account remains open and your balance is preserved, but the Platform is off-limits for the chosen duration.
Self-Exclusion
Request permanent or extended suspension of your Account. Self-exclusion closes your account for a minimum period you select — or indefinitely — with immediate effect. During exclusion, your account cannot be reopened at your own request before the selected period has elapsed. This is the most serious control tool and is free to activate at any time.
Reality Check Alerts
Enable periodic on-screen reminders showing how long you have been playing in the current session and your net win/loss position. Reality checks are designed to break the flow of play and prompt a conscious decision about whether to continue, take a break or stop entirely for the day.
How to Activate Responsible Gambling Tools
All responsible-gambling tools on 1eem are designed to be accessible without needing to contact support. They are located directly in your Account settings and can be activated in a few straightforward steps.
If you ever struggle to locate these settings, or if you want to activate self-exclusion immediately, our support team is available around the clock — in English and Urdu — via live chat and email. Self-exclusion requests are always handled as a priority.
No delay on restrictions: Deposit-limit reductions, loss-limit reductions and cooling-off periods apply immediately once set. Only increases to limits involve a mandatory waiting period before taking effect — to ensure the tools provide genuine protection, not just the appearance of it.
Log In to Your 1eem Account
Access your Account through the 1eem Platform on any device. All responsible-gambling features are accessible from both desktop and mobile.
Go to Account Settings
Navigate to your Account Settings or Player Profile section. Look for the "Responsible Gambling" or "Safe Play" section within the menu.
Select the Tool You Need
Choose from deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion. Each tool has its own configuration screen.
Set Your Parameters
Enter the amount, duration or period that applies to your chosen tool. For deposit and loss limits, enter a PKR figure. For time tools, select from the available duration options.
Confirm and Activate
Confirm your selection. The tool activates immediately for all restriction tools. You will receive a confirmation email to your registered address.
Contact Support if Needed
If you want to activate self-exclusion urgently, or if you cannot access Account settings, contact our support team directly via live chat or email. We will handle it immediately.
Available Limit Periods at 1eem
Each limit type is available across multiple time periods. Set one or several — they work together, not in conflict.
Daily
Limits that reset every 24 hours. Ideal for maintaining a consistent daily gambling budget in PKR.
Weekly
Seven-day rolling limits. Useful if your gambling tends to be concentrated around weekends or match days.
Monthly
Calendar-month limits. Good for planning around a fixed monthly budget denominated in PKR.
Permanent
Indefinite self-exclusion with no pre-set end date. Can only be lifted after a minimum exclusion period has elapsed and following a formal review by the support team.
Is Gambling Still Working for You?
The following questions are a self-reflection tool — not a diagnostic. Honest answers can help you identify whether your relationship with gambling is still comfortable and recreational, or whether some boundaries might help.
If you answer "yes" to several of these questions, that is worth taking seriously. It does not mean you have a problem — it means now is a good time to use the tools available to you, or to speak with someone who can help.
If you are concerned right now: Contact 1eem support immediately to activate a cooling-off period or self-exclusion. No judgment, no delay. Your request will be handled as a priority by our team, available 24/7 in English and Urdu.
Reflect honestly on each question. This is for your own awareness only.
Have you spent more than you intended to on gambling in the past month?
Have you gambled to try to recover money you had already lost?
Have you felt irritable, restless or anxious when not gambling?
Have you borrowed money, used savings or delayed bills in order to gamble?
Have you hidden or downplayed how much time or money you spend on gambling?
Have you tried to reduce or stop gambling but found it difficult to do so?
Has gambling affected your relationships, work performance or daily responsibilities?
Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently when you are doing other things?
Warning Signs to Watch For
Problem gambling rarely announces itself loudly. These are the patterns that tend to emerge gradually — and are worth recognising early.
- Spending money earmarked for essentials — rent, groceries, utility bills — on gambling
- Borrowing money from family, friends or financial services specifically to fund gambling
- Selling personal items to generate gambling funds
- Feeling a compulsion to "chase" losses by placing larger or more frequent bets than planned
- Being unable to accurately recall how much has been deposited or lost over the past week or month
- Feeling anxious, irritable or depressed when not gambling, or when unable to place bets
- Using gambling as a way to escape stress, boredom, grief, loneliness or other emotional difficulties
- Experiencing guilt or shame after a gambling session, followed by a return to gambling to compensate
- Thinking obsessively about gambling, upcoming matches or potential winnings during everyday activities
- Minimising or rationalising losses rather than acknowledging them honestly
- Hiding gambling activity from family members, friends or colleagues
- Becoming defensive or evasive when asked about time or money spent gambling
- Missing work, family commitments or social events to continue or extend gambling sessions
- Conflict with family over money, time or secrecy related to gambling
- Withdrawing from social activities that previously mattered in favour of gambling time
- Needing to bet larger amounts to achieve the same level of excitement or satisfaction
- Setting personal spending limits but repeatedly overriding them
- Returning to the Platform very soon after a loss, driven by the need to recover
- Successful attempts to reduce gambling that progressively shorten in duration
- Justifying continued gambling through logic like "I'll stop after one win" or "I'm due a win soon"
Adults Only — 18+ Strictly Enforced
1eem is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years of age — or the higher minimum age required by the operator's licence jurisdiction — to register an Account, deposit funds or place any wager. This is not a recommendation; it is a firm requirement.
Age verification is conducted during the registration process and again as part of KYC before withdrawals are processed. Any account found to belong to a person under the minimum age will be closed immediately, all wagers will be voided and any deposited funds will be returned to the payment source, subject to the Platform's AML obligations.
The 18+ requirement does not constitute a representation that gambling is lawful in Pakistan at that age or any age. The Prevention of Gambling Act 1977 and other applicable Pakistani legislation govern the legal status of online gambling in Pakistan. Each user bears sole responsibility for determining whether their participation complies with local law.
Protecting young people: If you believe that someone under 18 has accessed or attempted to access 1eem, please contact our support team immediately. We take underage access seriously and respond promptly to all such reports.
Registration Age Check
Date of birth is required at registration and cross-referenced during KYC. Misrepresenting your age is a breach of the Terms & Conditions and will result in permanent account closure.
Parental Controls Guidance
If there are young people in your household who share your device, use parental-control software to restrict access to gambling websites. 1eem recommends these measures as part of household internet safety in Pakistan and globally.
Keep Your Credentials Private
Never share your 1eem username or password with other household members, including children. If you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else, contact support immediately and change your password.
Understanding Self-Exclusion at 1eem
Self-exclusion is the most significant responsible-gambling tool available on the Platform. When you self-exclude, your Account is suspended immediately. You cannot deposit, wager or access the Platform for the duration of your chosen exclusion period. There is no fee and no penalty — it is your right to use this tool at any time.
Self-exclusion periods available through the 1eem settings include fixed durations of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year, as well as an indefinite option that has no pre-set end date. During any exclusion period, 1eem will also suppress all marketing communications to your registered email address. Promotional offers will not be sent while you are excluded.
To reverse a fixed-period self-exclusion, you must wait until the full exclusion period has elapsed and then submit a formal reinstatement request through our support team. Reinstatement is not automatic. There is a mandatory review period before your Account can be reactivated, and 1eem reserves the right to decline reinstatement if our team has concerns about your welfare.
Indefinite self-exclusion works the same way but with no automatic end date. Reinstatement from indefinite exclusion requires a minimum six-month period to have passed and involves a more thorough welfare review before any decision is made.
To self-exclude now: Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion. Choose your duration and confirm. Your account will be suspended within minutes. You will receive a confirmation email.
Need help urgently? Contact support via live chat or email [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link). Exclusion requests submitted through support are actioned as an immediate priority, 24 hours a day.
What 1eem Does to Support Responsible Play
Responsible gambling is built into how 1eem operates — not treated as an optional add-on. The Platform applies a set of operational practices to support player welfare alongside the individual tools available in Account settings.
For Pakistani players specifically, 1eem recognises that the cultural, financial and social context of gambling in Pakistan differs from other markets. We do not trivialise that context. The platform exists for entertainment — and for users who are genuinely committed to keeping it that way.
1eem does not target users who have self-excluded, reversed limits, or shown indicators of problem-gambling behaviour with bonus offers or promotional materials. Where our team identifies accounts with concerning activity patterns, we will reach out proactively to offer responsible-gambling resources and may impose platform-side limits in accordance with our licence obligations.
No Exclusion Marketing
Players who are self-excluded or have active cooling-off periods are removed from all marketing lists. We do not send promotional offers to users who have asked for a break.
Proactive Monitoring
1eem reviews account activity for indicators of potential problem-gambling behaviour and may initiate responsible-gambling outreach based on what we observe.
Support in Urdu & English
Our team handles responsible-gambling queries in both English and Urdu. Exclusion and limit requests are actioned immediately, day or night, throughout the week.
Licence-Compliant Practices
1eem's responsible-gambling framework is maintained in accordance with the obligations of the international gaming licence under which the platform operates.
Gambling & Pakistani Law — What You Need to Know
1eem operates under an international gaming licence. It is not licensed, authorised or regulated by the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or any provincial authority. 1eem makes no claim that online gambling is legally permitted under Pakistani law.
The Prevention of Gambling Act 1977 and related legislation govern gambling activity in Pakistan. Online gambling may be restricted or prohibited under applicable Pakistani law. Each user is solely responsible for determining whether their participation in 1eem complies with the laws and regulations of their jurisdiction of residence. This page does not constitute legal advice. If you are uncertain about your legal position, consult a qualified legal professional in Pakistan.
Gambling involves financial risk. There is no guaranteed method of winning, and all outcomes involve chance. The responsible-gambling tools described on this page are provided to support healthy play habits. They are not a substitute for personal financial discipline or, where relevant, professional support for gambling-related harm.
Set Your Limits Before You Play
The best time to set deposit limits, loss caps and session timers is before you start — not after. Head to 1eem and get your responsible-gambling settings configured first.
Adults 18+ only — or the higher minimum required by the operator/licence jurisdiction. Online gambling may be restricted or prohibited in Pakistan. Gambling involves financial risk. Play responsibly and within your means.
